Processing

Processing Recommendations

HP550J processes easily on standard injection molding equipment. Use the guideline below as a starting point; fine-tune to your specific mold and cycle.

Melt Temperature 180 – 220 °C
Mold Temperature 20 – 50 °C
Injection Pressure 60 – 100 MPa
Screw Speed 40 – 80 rpm
Drying (if needed) 70 °C / 1–2 h
Tip: HP550J is non-hygroscopic but may absorb surface moisture during storage. A short drying pass prevents surface splay marks on glossy parts.
